Paternoster Square Awarded Building Security Accreditation

06/06/2016

Paternoster Square was recently assessed by a representative of the City of London Crime Prevention Association for a 'Building Security Accreditation'.

The accreditation is only awarded if a building can demonstrate a high level of security practices. For an estate like Paternoster Square, this can often be difficult to attain due to the various security companies and occupiers on site.

The assessor toured the site with Axis Security Manager, Matthew Hollick, and Supervisor, Farouq Minawah. The assessment was carried out on the search and screening areas, CCTV/ control room setup, the patrolling of officers on the estate and the links to key stakeholders.

The estate security team were commended on their cohesive approach to security with regards to the business security forum, their links with the City of London police and Project Servator, Griffin and Argus. The estate security team act as the first line of prevention against criminality and link with St Pauls Cathedral and other prestigious occupiers across the city.

Paternoster Square were presented the accreditation at the CPA AGM meeting on May 20th at the Vinters livery hall.
